Gentle Giant Support Service (GGSS) recognises not everyone experiences life equally by virtue of various factors, including gender, socio-economic status, cultural background, and education level.  Our focus is, therefore, on creating opportunities for equitable outcomes. With this as our foundation, GGSS provides a diverse range of holistic and consumer-focused services.

Continuous Improvement

We are always aiming for Continuous Improvement.  It is an ongoing effort of our organisation to improve services, systems, processes or products to maximise benefits for all our clients. This also means adapting to the changing needs of the community or clients.  This process relies on using evidence-based information to support our organisation’s achievement of its goals and outcomes.  Whether the received Feedback is positive or a negative Complaint, we at GGSS will give an acknowledged reply within 2 working days.  

Feedback or Complaint

GGSS has a commitment to the fair resolution of feedback and complaints by people at all levels in the organisation by adopting the “Natural Justice Process”.  This means that a minimum standard of fairness is to be applied to the investigation and resolution of a feedback or complaint.  Therefore, the requirements of Natural Justice include the following:

• Fully informing a person of any allegation made against them
• Giving them an opportunity to state their case, provide an explanation or put forward a defence
• Ensuring that proper investigation of the allegations occurs, that all parties are heard, and relevant submissions considered
• Ensuring the decision-maker acts fairly and without bias.

GGSS values the perspective and input from our customers and the community and actively ensures that they have an accessible and safe avenue for providing feedback that fosters a culture which supports consumers and the community to make positive comments as well as raise complaints.
